Can you go custom and replicate it for less?

milabeehappy:  I did the same thing, but once my fiancé got on one knee with the ring I have now it all changed. I’m sure you will love whatever he chooses because he chose it for you.

milabeehappy:  If you really want that ring, why not  pitch in the difference in cost to get it?

Post a pic, ring savvy bees are great at finding ones very similar.

Agree!  Post the ring, or take pics and go to local jewelers to see how much it would cost for that ring.  Bet it’s cheaper.

I loved a lot of rings I couldn’t afford. So I just had my local jeweler replicate it for so much less.

You aren’t in love with the ring. You saw it once. You’re in love with the man. You’ve been with him for a long time. When he does propose, you’ll love the ring he gives you, because it’ll be so much more than a ring; it’ll be a symbol of your love.

caitlynrenee:  Call me shallow.  But if he had proposed with this, I don’t think I’d have loved the “symbol of our love”.

OP, would love to see a pic of the ring you fell in love with.

caitlynrenee:  Yes, of course she is in love with the guy. How many threads on here are started on a daily basis about finding a ring? It is possible for a lady to also love a piece of highly anticipated jewelry, especially given the symbolizism

You have 2 choices at this point.

If you are dead set on a diamond, buy your stone online separately and have a local jeweler set it for you. When you go this route it’s less expensive than the big box store with the inflated prices.

If you want to save your money for that exact ring I highly suggest you get that from moissaniteco.com. I’m positive they have that style just email Chris that photo and get a price. Either way you save!
