Definitely get the urban decay primer potion. LOVE that stuff. Also, their Naked palatte (sp?) eyeshadow is amazing. I’m wearing both for my wedding (I’m doing my own makeup).

As far as eyeliner goes, I use MakeUp forever’s pencil, and I love it. But I’m currently looking for a good liquid liner to use for my top lids.

Honestly, I just use Loreal Voluminous Millions of Lashes (in the gold tube) for mascara. I haven’t really found any other brand that works better, including higher end brands.

By far, the best foundation/ concealor I have ever used is Cle de Peau.  It’s crazy expensive, but if you want to get a flawless yet natural finish… it’s the only thing that’s ever done it for me.  I bought the concealor b/c it was so amazing, but I got samples of the foundation for my wedding day.

if you have a Nordstom Rack near you, they have a lot of the Urban Decay Primer Potion on sale for only $8. it’s the old bottle, but the same formula. They also have a lot of makeup fom TooFaced. It’s a great place for makeup!

At walmart there is a concealer that’s even better then Kat Von D’s tatoo concealer. It’s by Hard Candy, callled glamoflauge. I love it. It’s the best!!

A great liquid eyeliner is by Urban Decay – it’s super easy to use and waterproof.  Also, besides UD’s Primer Potion, Too Faced makes a great one, too.

I love the benefit primer I actually got some before it was available in Canada. For mascara I wore smashbox because its one of the only ones out there that wont clump like crazy on me (my lashes are thick and long so anything volumizing sucks on me). Stila has an awsome lip tint which I recomend to everyone.

Another vote for the Urban Decay primer. I like their 24/7 eyeliner too, it tends to stay put on me, especially if I prep the area under my lower lash with a bit of foundation and set it with translucent powder before applying the liner.

if you do decide to change your makeup, you may want to do so in advance to make sure that it is compatible with your skin and that you don’t react to it.

i have always used drugstore makeup (maybelline, covergirl, etc).  it’s works well for me.  i wore it on my wedding day.  it didn’t move.  it never does.   i even cried (thankyou waterproof mascara) but not once did i have to do any touchups and this was a 14 hour day.  a lot of it depends on the application.

with your background, i’m sure whatever you use, you will look lovely.

@lilchicana:  i’ve never had eyeshadow crease on me ever.  do you have oily lids?  are you using powder eyeshadow??  i always use translucent powder to set my foundation (even on my lids) and then apply my eyeshadow and then set my eyeshadow with more translucent powder.  seriously, it doesn’t move.
