@LauraRose: That’s awesome! =) I’ve met a lot of bands when I used to do photography/interviews for bands at shows. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity. I’m sad that I didn’t get to meet Tom DeLonge though (Angels and Airwaves/Blink 182). I had an interview set up with the band, but they were so backed up with other press events and such that us small people were told that there wasn’t enough time.

I got to meet Jenny Lewis before a Rilo Kiley show in 2007 – it was amazing!! She was so sweet and she shook my hand and wanted to chat for a little bit. Can’t do photos with her unless they’re Polaroid, though.

OMG my husband would FREAK! He loves The Offspring. Lucky you!
I’ve met lots of bands, especially in my teenage years when I went to shows nonstop. But no, I’ve sadly never gotten to meet my favorite band.

Yeah I think Fiance was actually a little more excited than me haha

My fiance’s friend from college works in films in NYC, and so he got an opportunity to work on Martin Scorcese’s Shine a Light, which is a Rolling Stones documentary. He met the band. He met Martin Scorcese. Then last year he met Mariano Rivera. I don’t know why he wants to even bother getting married cause nothing could top that for him!!

I met Alanis Morissette through my Fiance and even though she’s not a band, she was AWESOME. Like “let’s do tequila shots and play DDR” awesome. She gave my Fiance one of his favorite show wrap gifts ever. She was definitely one of my favorite people that I met in LA, usually celebrities are “best friends for one night” and then you never hear from them again but she was different.
