I sent a loose stone to an etsy seller to be placed in a setting, the stone was a pink moissy worth over 400. It shows twas delivered Wednesday and ive contacted the seller twice and they haven’t responded which is weird because they always responded within the hour every other time ive messaged them..
They have a good rating but now I’m worried …I saved the whole conversation and the invoice was paid via PayPal..Shes in the states and I’m in Canada…any advice?

How long has the seller been on etsy? How many positive reviews vs sales do they have? Do they have a facebook – have you tried messaging through there as well?
I’m sure it will be fine – a $400 stone is not worth losing your whole reputation over, however I would definitely expect some kind of explanation. Sorry you’re going through all of this. 🙁

Yikes I bought my dress and wedding sash from etsy with no issue but a ring can be a little scary. Was it insured? I would also contact the company who delivers it (ups dhl fedex) they may be able to I’ve you assistance too if they confirmed it was delivered.

As long as you have saved all the communication and payed through paypal (which you did/have) then don’t worry. It could be that she got really busy for valentine’s day or something. Give it a bit of time, and then file a dispute through paypal. Worst case scenario she will need to either return the stone or pay you back.
