I know what you mean, I just took my wedding ring in Saturday as well to get it redipped and a stone was loose so they have to fix it as well.  But I do remember when we took my ring in last year to have it dipped the first time before our wedding and was without it for about a month or so, because Darling Husband didn’t want me to wear it before the wedding (my ring is engagement/wedding ring all in one).  Luckily it was the same time my birthday was so I picked out a small ring to wear before the wedding!!

Hope you get it back soon! I just got mine back last week. They had to re-size it and the girl who set up the order just snatched it right off my finger. I felt like she should have bought me a drink or something first 🙂

it’ll be worth it when it comes back and it’s all set for you! Wear something else on that finger so you don’t constnalty go to fiddle with it and have mini-panic attacks that you lost it!

@PrncssDva:

that sounds odd to me…but I am most certainly not a jeweler! I have a ring on my right middle finger that’s a 7 and it would fall right off my left ring finger of I swapped! they must know what they’re doing…aside from the crude “gimmie your ring” bedside manner (lol)

I admit it, I am a ruh-tard. What is this dipping you guys speak of? I am not aware of having to have my ring dipped and etc. Please help cause I may have a heart attack if I have to hand over my ring!!!

@PrncssDva: Oh hell! I think I just felt my heart skip-a-beat. I don’t want to part with my ring to have it dipped!!!!!!!!! UGH, crap, dammit, UGH!

Thank goodness for the Bees on this site or I would be calling and cussing a jeweler for my ring turning yellowish.

I hadn’t had any knowledge of it until now (thanks to you for posting it). It looks like I will be having it dipped and an ambulance waiting for me when I exit the store. I seriously don’t know how any of you got through it though. I give you all props since you got it done and are still alive and posting.
