and I haven’t even parted with it yet. I have to take it in to be soldered today and as a result will be without it for a month (My Jeweler has to send it out with a two week esitmate and then wants there to be plenty of time in case it needs to be resized after soldering or some other issue). I have a place holder ring, but it isn’t the same. How have you bees dealt with being without your ring?

I had to drop mine off today to get resized because it’s just a little loose on my finger. I’ve only been engaged for a little over a week and already feel naked without it!

Awww!!! Hopefully the time will fly by!! I went with out my rings on our honeymoon, and I wore a stand in set! the first few days I kept freaking out because they weren’t “My” rings and then I adjusted!

Lots of chocolate and wine. The fetal position helps, too.
Seriously, I hate being without my ring, lol. The closest I have ever come to being okay without it was to wear a stand-in of some kind.
I hope the time goes fast for you!! 🙁

I’ve been engaged for a little over four months now, and I still haven’t sent my ring away to be resized yet … because I really don’t want to be without it, even if it’s just for a week. (I think I’d have an easier time with it if my Fiance were actually here – but he’s not. We’re long distance, and I haven’t seen him in close on four months.)

Yikes, a month is a long wait for soldering!
I took my rings in to get soldered today too, but should have them back in a day or two since they have bench jewelers on site.
You will get through it. I have been without my rings a few times (this is first time without my new ones, though!). I just wear a couple tree bark bands when they are gone, and when I get my rings back they always seem even more gorgeous than they were when they left!

Thanks everyone. It was hard to leave my ring behind, but in the end I know it will be worth it. Plus they are going to redip it as well so it will be all shiny when I get it back. Focus on the postive, right? And if that doesn’t work, I am totally breaking into the chocolate 🙂

I will be getting my Ering back in a few days, I can’t wait. I got a call from the jeweler yesterday saying that my rings were done which was just torture because I had to leave town just a few hours earlier to head back to school. So I have to wait for my fiance to bring them to me this weekend. The fact that he is waiting a couple days to go get them is making it even worse.

Oh I think that would be the worse, knowing it is ready and not being able to have it.

I’m without mine now since its at the jeweler because a diamond fell out. I don’t even know when I’m getting it back. It’s hard and I hate It.
