I know this is silly because in the days leading up to the wedding, I was miserable. In physical pain, stressed out, exhausted, etc. The day of was crazy chaos since everything took longer than I expected, it rained, it was hot out, I got tons of mosquito bites, etc.
But thinking back on it…I miss it. I wish it hadn’t gone by so quickly! I think my favorite part was the ceremony and the ceremony venue. The reception was just the usual noisy restaurant thing, where you had to yell to hear each other. But it was so fun getting all dressed up, seeing everyone I love in a beautiful venue, meeting relatives, etc.
One of the relatives brought a videocamera and recorded most of the ceremony so I’ve been watching it over and over. Looking back on it, I wish I weren’t so fidgety at the altar! I also wish my flower girl had gone down the aisle later (she went immediately after my Maid/Matron of Honor, and you can barely see her, plus she only put a few petals on the aisle–my fault for not giving her better instructions). But other than that, I loved it. It was so fun to be able to see it from a different angle.

I AM doing mine again……the pro phootgrapher messed up our pictures big style, so we are re-shooting it on 22nd September.
OK its only a mock-up, just the main players……bridesmaids and me and hubby and my son…… but we are still dressing up and going to the 2 venues, and then we are having a meal at the hotel where we had our reception……..
Pictures were |SOOOOOO bad. but looking forwards to it all again

Our wedding was almost a year ago and I still miss it. We were married last October and as the months lead up to our 1st anniversary I’m recalling where I was/what I was doing in Aug 2011, Sept 2011. It’s bringing back awesome memories. I think most brides go through this, grooms not so much. It’s probably since we’re the ones who “dream” of our wedding since we were little girls and have a vision in our heads. I told my husband a few days ago I wish we could do our wedding again…. his answer was “No”!!! Oh well, a girl can dream can’t she?

Yep, I hear ya, OP. It’s only been 5 days for me, but everyone keeps commenting about how epic it was, that I want to relive it over-and-over so I can share the experiences with our friends and family some more.
At least I have Darling Husband agreeing to a vow renewal in 5 years.. I hink. *fingers crossed*.

Just wait until you get your pics back from the photographer. You’ll have a blast going through them and seeing your wedding from a different perspective. It’s awesome!
We just got ours back 2 days ago and I can’t stop looking at them 🙂

Me too! I used to look at wedding blogs all the time (like http://www.stylemepretty.com) and now I’m at a loss whenever I log onto the computer! I need to find some new blogs lol. It’s funny because my actual wedding day was wonderful, but I felt sick the entire time (and freezing cold). We also had heaps of rain. But it was great and I miss it and I especially miss all the planning! HOWEVER, looking at the photos is the best thing ever…so much fun!

I had my wedding photo re-shoot…..and it was great getting into my dress again….all the excitement without the nerves.
We went to both venues again, and afterwards went for a lovely meal…not quite the same as our reception but very nice.

Aw me too! I even said in my vows that ‘I wish I could stop time and be in this moment forever.’
When you’re waiting to get engaged it feels like time draaaaaags…..and then as soon as you do it’s like…Whoosh! And…it’s done. :((( Looking at my wedding pics never gets old for me!
