so cute!  i’d go for understated necklace (if you wear one at all) and dramatic earrings… there’s enough going on at the neckline.  and maybe a cuff on the short sleeve side?

    I wouldn’t do a necklace.  Do a cuff/bracelet and maybe earrings.

@MzJynxie:  no necklace for sure. There’s enough going on up there. If you want my honest opinion, that dress is quite short/tight to be wearing to a staff holiday party. I’d stay away from anything too gaudy, shiny, or glittery. I say simple earrings, a cocktail ring, and maybe even tights and cute pumps. I’m a sucker for the Pour la Victoire ‘Irina’ pump.

Love this dress! Not in pink, but you know. haha.

I’d do some simple wrist bangles. Maybe some earrings. what length is your hair?

Maybe something like these, just not so many:
(in whatever color the clip is… gold?)

I like your original idea (the black lace dress) I think it looks more classy and elegant, even for a cocktail party. These are your coworkers and peers, and I feel like the dress you purchased might be a little clubby feeling.

Plus, those black lace shoes are amazing!

To be honest, the first dress looks like something only a 21-year-old would wear to an adult function….meaning that if you’re trying to look more mature among your officemates, I would choose something else.  That is very clubwear-esque.  The second dress with the black lace is much better, but only if you wear a non-platform heeled shoe.  A strappy sandal would look very cute and not scream “I’m the office youngster!”

@MzJynxie:  Honestly,  My Fiance works for a tech company and their “holiday party” was kind of all over the place in terms of dress.  I love the lace dress but maybe you need to ask your Boyfriend or Best Friend what the dress code is.  If it’s more party, go with dress one but if it’s more formal, go with the lace! 🙂

@MzJynxie:  Id go for a cuff on the non-sleeved side and small dangle earrings. nothing too much.
