So I start a new job in a few weeks and I want a new job makeover, haha. I am getting my hair done this coming Monday. I need help with cut and color.
Here are current-ish pictures of where I’m at:
This picture (I’m sweaty sorry) is from the honeymoon in December.
This picture is (less sweaty) and from the honeymoon.
This is the most recent picture of me but my hair is pulled back on each side.
Here are pictures for color reference:
This picture is of my red hair from 2011.
This is the color I had at my wedding.
Here are pictures for cut options (if you don’t like any, suggest another):
Long 2 with angle:
Short 1 with angle:
Short 2 chin length:
Feel free to make other suggestions!

I would let the bangs grow out a bit so they can be styled a bit softer; the hard line of the bangs across your forehead looks a bit dated to me but I am biased because I am not a fan of bangs at all. Also, bangs should brush the top of your brows, not cover them (to me it looks like you have no eyebrows.)
If you change the color, I say to go darker and more ashy or cool in tone, no reds or golds because it looks like they wash you out a bit. I like Natural Instincts Clove personally. Everyone goes lighter and it is not always flattering. I always get compliments and everyone is convinced it’s my natural color.

bump again (only got 15 votes in 1 hour and i’m bored and needy today)

Congrats on the new job! I agree with beachbride: softer bangs (i love how they’re a little bit wispy in the half up pic, and they blend with the rest of your hair more), and I think a dark ashy brown would be perfect. I’m partial to the shortest cut you posted, cuz its similar to mine 😉 Post pics, whatever you decide!

length – long straight with bangs will suit you better than short. I think whether you have an angle or not depends on personality. I voted for with angle cus i prefer a more fashion fwd look.
color – i think you should dye your hair a darker brown than was in your wedding picture….similar to the first picture of the person in picture titled ‘Long 1’

I had long striaght with bangs but it looked stringy after a while.

You probably won’t like this but…I like the third picture of you the best! Probably not the change you are looking for lol. I agree with maybe growing out your bangs to more side swept bangs.

Why not find a high-end stylist who has great reviews and getting their opinion? The very best stylists can take a person’s personality, body shape and size, and design a hairstyle that is perfect for that person.

I agree and think the this is the best option for you.

@howtobeawife: only do a bob if you’re good at styling your hair and willing to do it every morning. They are deceptive. I’ve had bobs before and I couldn’t wait until they grew out.
I think you should stay in the brown hair color family. Maybe get some lighter brown highlights to freshen it up for spring??

I love the red on you! You look good as a brunette, but not many people can pull off red and you can.
As far as cut, I like Long 1 the best. It’s similiar to what you already have, looks low-maintenance, and can be styled different ways.

Cut 2 with your current hair color. It looks the nicest. 🙂

I like the color of your hair at your wedding. I agree with others about the wispy/thinner/side swept bangs.
Here is a cut suggestion I liked that is a bit shorter but adorable!
