Why don’t you just use vanilla flavored vodka?  Or there is a cake flavored vodka made by 3 Olives.

Ooops.  I just skimmed your post before responding.  You need to make Vanilla Simple Syrup.  It is really easy, just boil water and add equall parts sugar, dissolve, and add the beans/tar like inside of a few vanilla beans.  You can order squeeze bottles online to put it in, or go you a cake decorating or craft store to find them.

Add this to the drink.  Vanilla extract would be nasty.

Do you want pineapple juice in 2 of the drinks?  I think you should go with more of a variety.

My Fiance made up a refreshing cocktail that people seem to really like.  I’m pretty sure it comes from a book that he likes by Bret Easton Ellis and it’s referred to as the drink of the new Millennium.

It’s silver rum, Rose’s lime juice, tonic and a twist of lime.

However, I don’t see any vodka drinks or martinis on your list.  Kick up a Cosmopolitan by adding in a splash of OJ or Pineapple juice.  Down here we call them Sunrises.

Old Fashioned is always a good old drink. It is made with bourbon.

A midnight kiss is a great blue drink. It is vodka, blue curaco, champagne, and a teaspoon of lemon juice.

Just made a new drink over the weekend.  1 part Peach schnapps, 1 part Vodka, 2 parts Reisling white wine, top with flavored sparkling water.  Served over ice. Very refreshing and yummy !!

What about a Screw-Up? It’s a screwdiver (vodka/oj) with with a splash of 7-up. I don’t know if it’s new per se, but there’s a lot of people who probably haven’t had one before. It’s a new twist on an old favorite…?

We are doing this! We are having a full (as much as we can) bar. We are bringing in our own alcohol, we we won’t have every imaginable mixer available.

We are using the “somethings” as suggestions of stuff we can make, but if someone wants a rum and coke, we can make that too.

Here are our drinks:

Something Old:

Old fashioned: Whiskey (or Brandy, we will have both) bitters, orange, sugar)

Something New:

New Orleans Hurricane: rum, lemon-lime soda, passion fruit juice, lime juice (My parents also went to New Orleans for their honeymoon)

Something Borrowed:

White Russian: vodka, coffee liqueur, cream (FI’s favorite drink)

Something Blue:

Blue Fizz: gin, lemon juice, blue curacao, club soda, sugar

I love ’em.  I served them for a party once and nobody drank them though.  🙁
