I’m getting married June 27 and my pianist just cancelled. I need someone who can play classical songs and is available both the 27th from 12:45 – 1:45 PM and for the rehearsal on Thursday the 25th from 5-6. We have a violinist playing as well. Please let me know if you know anyone!
Ceremony is at St. Aloysius Church on North Capitol and "eye" Street.

Are there any local music schools? You can speak with their career/job placement department for anyone that could do that inexpensively and quickly.

Hi! If you absolutely are stuck and can’t find anyone…my fiance plays piano (was an organ minor in college and is a band director now) and could most likely play for you, but we live about 3.5 hours away. But, we aren’t doing anything that day! Would be nice to take a daytrip to DC 🙂
I second the school vote though. How far are you from Johns Hopkins? See if you can contact anyone from Peabody, their music school. Not sure how difficult it will be since school will be out but certainly worth a shot! Also check maybe with local high schools? It’s possible that the band directors will know of local piano teachers that they send their students too.
