I’ve been looking for THE ONE for a while now and I’m kind of at the point where I just want to give up and settle but I know it’s out there. I’m looking for a really unique wedding dress in an A-line or Sheath silhouette for my beach wedding. I have some examples of dresses I really like as far as the design and embellishments but I would prefer a dress in a white/ivory/blush color. If anyone knows some designers that have similar dresses or a really unique style please let me know! My budget is under $800 and I’m not opposed to bridesmaid dresses or designer gowns that aren’t necessarily bridal.

One word of warning: be reeeeally careful about getting a dress without much train. My friend had a lovely beach elopment in a chiffon dress with a big sweep train, and she ended up dragging around 10 pounds of sand everywhere that was trapped under the hem. Oof!
If you’re looking for something unique and bridal but not just a traditional wedding dress, what about looking at white/ivory “occassion” dresses? (Prom, etc.) They’re a little different, and often cheaper to boot.
Here are some ideas:

Maybe Sue Wong or Tadashii Shoji would have something you like?

If I were to get married on the beach, with that budget, I would definitely look at Mori Lee’s Voyage collection – http://www.morilee.com/bridals/voyage
I really love this dress – http://www.morilee.com/bridals/voyage/6745 but it wouldn’t fit with the theme for my wedding unforunately. I think it is absolutely perfect for a beach wedding

Here are a few I stumbled upon over at Etsy. I’m not sure they are different enough for you, but they are beautiful!

The first picture is stunning. Designer or maker of the dress?
