I am getting married in October, well hopefully if I can actually find a venue… 🙂
I am looking for an outdoor ceremony and reception location. The party will be about 120-150. I don’t want a country club or golf course, or a beach wedding. I LOVED the Lakeridge winery BUT they will not let us have liquor at the reception. Any suggestions?

It would help if you told us where you live or where you want to hold the wedding, if they are not one and the same.

Haha, that sounds like my req’s too only less people. Honestly, you have plenty of time. It took me about a week of research in my area to find about 3 places I wanted to visit (they have open houses), and I’ve visited one so far. Will be visiting the second one in 2 weeks. Weddingwire.com was probably the best tool for me, then visiting the vendor’s website. I could see reviews, pictures, prices (sometimes), etc. You can also use Google Maps street view to see the surrounding location. I also used Google Maps to see reviews (pulls in reviews from other websites). It’s basically an internet research project. 🙂

You mean you can’t read my mind!? 🙂 I live in Central Florida, but am willing to travel all over Florida and even now debating Southern Georgia.

Check out HereComesTheGuide.com I found it to be VERY helpful! Definitely would be helpful if you put your location so fellow Bees could help with recommendations!
Best of Luck!
