Our wedding colors are chocolate and apple green. My bridesmaids are wearing chocolate dresses and I assumed the groomsmen would wear a black tux with a chocolate vest. I’m not a huge fan of brown/black together but when I say a Chaps tux with those colors, I fell in love. Well, today at the formal wear shop, my fiance decided that he wanted the groomsmen to wear apple green vests. Will the color combination look ok together? I may be freaking out because we do get married in 4 weeks so i’m a little stressed and this wasn’t what I had in mind. I had to be a good bride and give my groom what he wanted. What do you think ladies?

I say let him have it!
It works very well with your colour scheme and I think they will compliment each other (the BMs and GM) very well.
I totally understand what it is like to have your vision changed but I personally like this option better – it is less matchy matchy!

I think I’d let him have it his way. I think it will make very little difference overall, so let him dress his guys how he wants.

I agree…ask him what he wants

I think you should let him do what he wants with his guys (within reason, of course). If he’s into making a decision for he wedding, by all means, let him. I do wonder how the chocolate brown suits with apple green tie would look. Sounds nice.

My dad got remaried 2 years ago and wore a black tux with a brown tie and vest and I actually liked it a lot, and so did my boyfriend (now Fiance.) I think the brown was a truffle color.

I think you should let him do it the way he wants to! I actually really like the idea of apple green vests!
