It depends- would you prefer to serve heavy appetizers or a dinner?

Some suggestions for beach wedding food- could be either apps or dinner: seafood, skewers, salads, corn on the cob. Barbeque foods could be fun, too! Desserts: fruit, ice cream!

im not familiar with food prices in texas but in ohio, heavy apps are $10 more( starting prices) than a bbq buffet. we have all kinds of bbq caterers that are super cheap starting at $9 for a standard pig roast and going to $15  for chicken brisket ribs and pork. i would do bbq.

Seafood buffet, or for a less formal affair, what about crab sandwiches or lobster rolls? A salad bar would be nice alongside.

If I’m going to a wedding at that time, I’m expecting to be fed and would want more than just appetizers.

depends on timings to be honest. if its over dinner time then i think the only way appetizers would be acceptable are if they are the equivalent of a meal. and normally, that many apps works out equally or even more expensive than a buffet/full meal
