So I just ordered this bedding set from Macy’s and the matching sheets were ridiculously overpriced and just a plain color, nothing special. So bottom line, I’m looking for new sheets. The ones we have now are just awful. Any suggestions? I want sheets that are comfortable and soft and won’t wrinkle too much (to the point where I have to iron them).

Target has some comfy new sheets. We like the 600 thread count, but they have a lower thread count that are labeled as wrinkle free too. They’re so much more reasonably priced than most places I’ve looked. I would say Kohl’s because they have pretty prints, but the last ones I bought were extrememly thin and actually ripped within 2 weeks.

@soonerpsych: I bought some at Kohls and they felt nice in the store but once I washed them they felt awful! And they attract lint like crazy. Any brands you can reccomend?

I found some really nice sateen type cotton ones at Ikea. They are so soft, and actually cheaper than a lot of places. Good luck!

@Treasure43: The ones we like at Target are just their Home brand. I won’t buy sheets from Kohl’s anymore since their quality seems to be poor. I don’t remember the exact brand we had that ripped, but they looked really nice until we took them out of the packaging.
For a little more expensive sheets, I’m in loooove with several Ralph Lauren options!

Every now and then you can find a nice set at Ross.
