Have you seen a european bustle? I just was not sure if you are against it. It is another option.

I have to agree that looks messy. I would seek out another seamstress for the bustle. There are so many who will be more than happy to accommodate.

My seamstress said something about an “australlian” bustle???  I tried to google it but it wasn’t what she explained to me so I’m not sure what it’s called but basically, what she’s going to do i pretty much tuck the whole train under…not a french though, I’m not a fan up the pick-up look. And the American, which is what yours looks like was just “too much” as my bottom is ALL ruffle.  So essentially, it looks as though I went to the back room and chopped off my trian.  I LOVE it!  The dress looks the same except the train is just “gone”.

I’m sure there is another way to bustle your dress.  I wish I had a pic to show you =/

I don’t know much about bustles, but I would take it to another seamstress to ask another opinion

@Terryal87:  i really like that bustle style. i have also heard it called a train flip bustle.and if you search “Nacho Bustle” on here, there is a.bee who posted a very clear diagram.of how it is done.

I agree, that bustle is really bad. Can you maybe try another seamstress?

Is the lace overlay attached to the white underpart..(I don’t know its called called)? Because my dress was lace and it was not attached to the white part underneath so she bustled each part individually I have pictures and it turned out really nice

Have your seamstress bustle the white part underneath separately then for the lace part have her bustled that as well

I don’t like this bustle. I prefer the three point bustle and my dress is a lace overlay.
