I like it. If you want to be cost efficient it makes sense to move the pomanders from the ceremony to the reception.

If you prefer flowers, obviously you can do that too.

I think the pomander in the picture might have been pushed down a little too far as the circular shape is distorted.

Could you use the pomanders at or around the head table (if you’re having one)?

I think you should use the pomanders at the reception too.  *Like*

…or if you used colored poms instead of white.  or thicker ribbon that’s colored instead of repeating the damask from the table linens….

I like it without the pomander.

what if you pushed the ribbon up near the top, then you wouldn’t see the bottom poking out?

perhaps if the ribbon wasn’t so ‘busy’ (for lack of a better word).  Your eye (or mine at least) tends to be drawn to the ribbon, but i’m thinking you want the lights to be the center of attention?

I think @babybluz: has the solution. Place the ribbon at the top of the vase.

@blondilocks: oh man, i bow down to your freaky (but not in a bad way) pomander-making-skills!

Are they silks? where did you get them from? And how on EARTH did you make 24 of them in ONE WEEKEND?  Do you still have fingertips lol?
