I have no idea what to wear to a wedding. Haha. I don’t know what is too dressy, what is not dressy enough, and I have no idea what their colors are so I can avoid them. The only thing I do know is to not wear white. :]
All examples of wedding attire wanted! I have two weddings to attend in the next two months; one is semi-formal, the other is more casual.

You could always wear a skirt and a nice blouse. I woudln’t worry about the colors. Just pick whatever–a blue or pink or yellow….black skirt, pumps, etc. For the casual one, I’d do a sundress with a cardigan.

For semi-formal, wear a cocktail dress. That basically means knee length. Make sure it isn’t to sun-dressy meaning the material is more fancy than cotton and there is some kind of dressy detail instead of just a floral print. Try to avoid light colors or pastels as they can appear less formal. Jcrew has a lot of great cocktail dresses if you want some ideas.
For the casual wedding, you can wear a sundress or a skirt and blouse. I personally think a dress is always the most appropriate attire for a lady at a wedding since it is more dressy (even if it’s a casual dress) and even a casual wedding is still a wedding, you know?
