I can only see the jpg, maybe save the “dress_possible” as a jpg.

I think you should keep looking. There are dresses out there with those elements combined.

(I like the second dress much better)

First, welcome to Weddingbee.

It sounds like you are not completely in love with either dress, so why not keep looking?  Since you are still over a year out from your wedding (assuming 9/16/11 is your date) you still have plenty of time to try other dresses.  Maybe you will be able to find a dress that combines the things you like into one.  My point is that I would not settle on a dress if you still have time to look.

I agree with the other posters.  You should keep looking, you don’t have to settle, I’m sure you can find a dress where you love the top and bottom.

I would also keep looking. But if you really like the bottom, maybe you could have a gown custom made for you with the bottom and the bodice you love.

I think it just depends how it looks on you.  I think you should take pictures of yourself in the dresses and post them. It could like super fine in a picture on a size 2 model but on you it could look totally different.  Personally I like the first one better, but I am sure there may be another vote if I saw you in both.

Good luck 🙂

I recently googled all the elements I liked in a dress and images were helpful.  Try and narrow down what you really want in a dress.  e.g corset back, sweatheart neckline, a-line- or whatever it is.  good luck

if you can send them via text to email, try sending it that way.  that typically works for me, though I sometimes actually download everything on my SD card to my computer… sometimes.

I agree with the others here, don’t “settle” for a dress if you have plenty of time.  Go with the one you love, since you’re the one wearing it!  (or, if you’re not into superstitions and don’t mind your Fiance seeing you in the gown, drag him along and let him help pick a gown out!)

I say keep looking.  Go to a bridal store and say you want something with an interesting back and pickups and see what they come up with.

I really like the halter dress. I think it’s more understated and elegant.
