that is a nice green. it would be nice for a fall wedding.

i would suggest going to a bridal salon and look at what colour bm dresses they have in green and ask what colour it is.  if you want the bm’s in a certain colour, it may be better to start there.  as for the other accessories for the wedding, you can always add different elements with that same green.  ribbons, fabric, etc.

I think orange is a nice color all year round. Especially for October, like an autumn orange? I had tangerine orange for my May wedding. Hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

I second green and navy.  My next choice would be some sort of fall mixture of reds and burnt oranges- but you didn’t mention either of those in your op.  If you choose to go with dresses from David’s Bridal, they have tons of things that match the colors of their Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses: garters, guestbooks, invites, and so on.

@Thurst17: My main wedding color is burnt orange and it was a good hard color to find when I was looking for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. I really neve found the exact shade I wanted because it was either too dark or too light. Eventually, I found a color which was a happy medium…not too dark and not too light. It’s something to keep in mind when you go shopping ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, is this the green you are looking for?

I would call that green like a foresty green. What I did to decide my wedding colors was Google, “____ wedding decor” and put in random colors and saw what stuff I liked best. I ended up with black and tan, and for a beach wedding in Hawaii it was perfectly simple and simply perfect. =) Welcome to the Bee!

I think that color green would go together nicely with navy and white — very crisp and fresh and modern. You could use some pops of fuchsia or carnation pink in there for different details, too (which will help when you’re looking at flowers). IMO, I’m not a huge fan of green and orange together (sorry guys) — I’m reminded of camo, Gatorade, and certain football teams. But I’m sure that you’ll pull it off nicely if you decide to go with that.

And it’s really tough to name certain shades of colors, isn’t it? I really like that green. I might call it bottle green or summer lawn green. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s very botanical and natural.
