Honestly? I don’t think any of those necklaces are good enough for your amazing dress. I hope you’re not offended by that. Keep searching, unless you’re in love with any of them and then in that case, go for it. I just think your dress deserves something a little more special.
I think any combination of ruby, garnet, black spinel, and pearl would look lovely.

Thanks. There’s a couple I’m looking at.
I like the last one. What site is this on?

I like several of the ideas posted by the folks above me.
I also love the idea of your dress and veil with no necklace. I think that would be stunning.
Here’s another sort of idea … although it might seem weird. (Apologies in advance if it is.) What about a cameo of some sort? It might be understated enough to accent or compliment your dress and veil and, yet, detailed enough that it wouldn’t get lost in the mix. I’m not sure if this makes sense or not. >.O Also, cameos have always struck me as being sort of Victorian / traditional / Gothic. I think it could be any one of those things, depending on what it’s paired with.
Anyhow, I’m going to link a couple. Again, not sure if it would be to your taste or not.

Because there’s so much going on with the dress (gorgeous!) and veil, I would love to see a solid red necklace- something similar to photo #2 in post 15, or #3 in post 18.
But honestly, the more I look at the dress, the more I think skip a necklace- the neckline doesn’t call out for one. You could have a great red cuff bracelet instead.

I would not wear a necklace with your dress and veil, both of which are quite stunning and have a lot of detail on them.
Instead, if you have the coloring for it, I would wear a deep, bold, red lipcolor with that ensemble.

@mreject: If I had to pick of the choices you’ve given, I’d pick #2, but I’d go more with something like this (in red or black):

Love your dress and veil, but agree with PP that the necklaces you showed don’t really go with it. I would leave your neck bare or go with something simple so as not to detract from the beautiful detail. How about just a black pearl necklace?
Here’s one for $12, but there are many similar ones on etsy.
Since you were posting some multi-strand ones with black and silver beads, here’s one fo $16 that is a little more elegant imo
I know you didn’t want anything too big or statement making, but I though this one brings a bit more “punk” to the outfit, for $19. It’s a little post-apocalyptic cool, and also comes in red http://www.etsy.com/listing/166980513/black-bead-necklace-chunky-acrylic?ref=sr_gallery_32&ga_search_query=black+beaded+necklace&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=ZZ&ga_page=2&ga_search_type=all

To be TOTALLY honest, I LOVE how the dress looks in the pic without a necklace! But that’s just personal preference, too – I don’t usually like a lot of jewellery. I voted for #4 because I loved the look of it the most. But, I think your dress is so interesting and different that it would be really cool if you left the focus on that – especially with your veil! (Plus you could save that $50 for something else!) Just another thought 🙂
