Sounds great! It’s nice that she’s offered to go off menu and bring in some Caribbean elements if you wanted to. What about jerk chicken skewers instead of tamarind? Her menu looks like it has a lot of Middle Eastern elements – yummy!
For sweet appetizers I’d definitely go with fruit and maybe some mini hand pies or mini creme brulee cups or tirimisu?
