I ordered my dress 6 months ago before knowing I’d be 4 months pregnant at our wedding!! Can’t complain about the wonderful news, but boy did those boobies grow! I went up almost 2 cup sizes. The seamstress had already cut the sweetheart neckline from a modified sweetheart. She is going to add a scalloped lace edge to the neckline which will add 1/4-1/2 inch of coverage all the way around. I’m honestly just looking at the picture of myself and seeing that dark cleavage line in the middle. I don’t think it looks bad, and I wouldn’t judge someone else for having it, but I’m fairly liberal with my clothing opinions. I want to know if my grandmother or my catholic aunts are going to be saying stuff behind my back.
Honest opinions welcome! Do you think the lace edging will cover up the cleavage to an appropriate level? Wedding is in 2.5 weeks!!

I think it looks fine! But if my boobs grew 2 sizes I think I would feel the same way you do especially for a church wedding! I think your alterations will take care of your extra boobage and make you more comfortable.

It doesn’t look like too much to me, but I think the addition of the lace will give you plenty of coverage. Congrats on the baby!

The dress is stunning on you and congrats on the pregnancy! My friend was just saying to me yesterday “imagine if you get pregnant after ordering your dress” hehe I guess it does happen to some people! Good thing your dress isn’t mermaide! 🙂
As for the boobage…It seems as though you are just like me…a little modest. I would say the lace would DEF help and you would be so much more comfertable instead of always having to worry!
Best of luck!

I don’t think it’s too much now, but I think the lace will look great and add a bit of modesty for your family and your overall comfort. The dress is beautiful!!!

I remember another bee who added lace to her sweetheart neckline for modesty and she looked stunning!

What a beautiful dress! Congrats on the baby! I think the lace edging idea is perfect. You don’t want to have to worry about pulling up your dress all night. A little extra material should be just enough to keep you from worrying.

First of all, congratulations on both your upcoming wedding and your pregnancy! What an exciting time!
Your dress is absolutely beautiful. I’m pretty modest, so I might be uncomfortable with that amount of cleavage. But that’s me. That said, you look amazing, and I think the lace will absolutely help you feel a little more comfortable.

Congratulations! Your dress is beautiful & I don’t think it’s too much cleavage at all. I wouldn’t have ever thought, “Whoa, boobs!” or anything if I wasn’t specifically inspecting your cleavage.
