The wedding was Saturday, and of course I’m looking at honeymoon packages now! I literally only have a total of $1400 to spend. I know that’s not much, but I’m hoping someone can point me in the direction of a good travel agent and possibly an all-inclusive resort. I’d prefer to see the ocean, since I’ve lived in Montana most of my life, but I’m not necessarily interested in leaving the US. I’m planning on going in January or February. Thanks for your help!!

What about driving to the west coast? It might take a bit, but I bet there’d be some amazing scenery on the way!

@abbie017: The weather in the Northwest in January-Feb is terrible, it’s really rainy. If you drive to the West Coast and you want some sunshine you’d need to make a beeline for California. You should check all-inclusive packages to Puerto Rico, I just heard last week that they were really cheap! You can always check Expedia and Priceline for packages.

@MsVoyageur: Agreed, the weather would probably not cooperate on the northwestern coast. I will check Puerto Rico. Thanks for the suggestion!

@wifegoodman: Totally agree!
Fiance and I are doing a 5 day cruise of the Carribean for — wait for it — $389 each for the week (includes ALL meals…even your 4-course dinners). Add in flight and I would think this still may seem like it’d be under your budget?
Check Carnival Cruises if you’re interested!

The Sonoma wine country in California is beautiful in February, especailly mid-late feb. we get a kind of flase spring and everything warms up for about 3-4 weeks. Plus you’re about 45 min from the coast at a leisurely drive. You could pretty easily do a week long trip within that budget.
There is also Carmel/Monterey but that area is a bit more expensive.
