Look in the Christmas decoration aisle. There are always floral picks designed for floral arrangements, wreaths or package decorations. You will surely find something that will work with light green pomanders.

This one used crystal pins. You could get the color of your choice at a bead or millinery store.

Yeah, at first I thought you were asking about adding other flowers to carnation pommanders, which probably wouldn’t work too well.  The reason you only see pommanders with roses, carnations, and mini mums is that you need to use hardy flowers with even, consistent head sizes and heights, and tough stems, and also since the little flower girl / aisle decor sized pommanders take ~50 stems, people use these three because they’re economical.  Roses would stick out above carnations / mums, mums would sit lower than carnations, so I wouldn’t recommend mixing flower types necessairly, BUT I do like the idea of adding little berry clusters (you could also use real berries, like hypericum, wiring the offshoots / clusters individually), or pearl pins, etc.
