I love your dress! It seems really suited to you and you look just lovely. I think your idea of letting the hips out a tiny bit is a good one, and I second the idea of deepening the sweetheart neckline. I think that with shapewear (I myself am looking for some good shapewear!) and proper tying of the corset, this will be perfection. Honestly, even with it being pointed out, I don’t see the apliques as being really that near your crotch. I love it as-is. But if you’d feel more comfortable with their removal, then go for it. The silhouette is great either way.
Will you share what your shapewear is? I’m still looking!

VictorianChick: I’m thinking about at the very bare minimum to remove the one in the middle . Thank You.

farmfreshjoy: Yes I will definitely share with the shapewear. I ordered my long line bra and rago shape wear from Herroom. Its the rago 6210 and goddess lace long line bra GD0689. I found out about them from another bee on here when I searched plus size shape wear.

farmfreshjoy: Here’s a picture of the rago shapewear and long line bra. The longlinebra adjusts for a lower back if needed and the shaoewear zips up on the side.

anpjlrr71009 : it might need to be let out a little in the hip area and darts might need to go in at the bust. I’m not a seamstress but that’s what I think.

Markinu : I had to Google what darts in the bust meant lol. That is one of the first things we are going to talk about tomorrow. Thank you!

My 1st fitting went great! She is deepening the sweetheart neckline first , letting out the hips, and changing the back a bit. She said to leave the applique in the middle for now to see if I change my mind etc because she sees nothing wrong with where it is. My next fitting I will be able to discuss the hem and bustle along with a slip to go under it before going forward. Here is a better picture of the dress with everything on. Ignore my tiara as my twists is keeping it from staying down properly and I am not standing straight but to the side so it does look crooked lol
