How about searching on Pinterest? I did a search and found lots of pictures from grey suits to black suits on the GMs.

Ah yes, I love me some dress blues!

I was engaged to a Marine (my ex) and my best friend just married a Marine. Her colors (and the ones I was originally going to use) were red and black with hints of white. It looked great! I attached a picture below of her dress and such to give you some inspiration.

@03KM0:  I think any dark suit (black or navy) would look good with dress blues. Could you switch to royal blue Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and keep the gold and ivory? I think light pink flowers would look great with royal blue.

@03KM0:  I think a light blue would clash, honestly. Maybe do like mostly white with hints of royal blue and red?

I was thinking red also, which would be easy to find in Converse and would look great with your gold and ivory. Great for fall too 🙂

I think your colors will work fine, just lose the sneakers.  Honestly, it would look more silly trying to match a man in uniform than it would be to have pink dresses alongside his dress blues.  Gold, ivory, and pink are classic wedding colors and will look nice next to a handsome Marine.

I personally think you could put your bridesmaids in light gold/champagne dresses and use pink as an accent in the pocket squares and flowers. The reason I say this is because I don’t think you need to match your husband’s dress blues. I think you need to coordinate- and I think this would with the shiny brass buttons, medals, etc. PS Thank you for your husband’s service.
