here is what we are thinking but the colors would be in a darker blue.
cake one which shape do you think looks better? and the ribbon does it look better on every tier or every other tier?
this is the picture the cake decorator sent us today.

I prefer cake 1. Each tier is a different shape but same size. I think the ‘bling’ and ribbons are strategically placed. Overall it looks so elegant. Definitely put the ribbons on every other tier. It may be too clustered if you do it on every tier. The 2nd cake seems somewhat weird to me due to the height of each tier. Cake 1 it is!

Cake 1 looks better than Cake 2. Cake 2 looks proportionally off to me; I also don’t care for the topper (but then I’m not a fan of cake toppers to begin with).

Cake 1 is way more elegant, but cake 2 is much more “young and crazy”. I voted 1, but depends on which is your theme I think really.

@HisNightOwl2014: Cake 2 has almost 50% of it covered by a ribbon. I really prefer to see more of the “edible” part so I vote for cake 1.

@HisNightOwl2014: I voted 2 as I like the rings on top, so my bad, should’ve voted 1

Cake one looks better to me!

@HisNightOwl2014: I like cake one because of the proportions and the more subdued bling, but I’m not a fan of the different shapes. I think it would look a lot better if all the tiers were either square or round.

Cake #2 has a little bit too much going on for my taste

@HisNightOwl2014: I agree with the pp- cake one is elegant and beautiful, while cake two is a little too busy for my taste.

@weddingbound: thank you so much for your impute i think were going to go for the while cake being round caz square is so much more ; ( i think the hex tier at the bottom makes the cake look weird too

Cake 1 looks more well-put together than Cake 2. Maybe the bottom two tiers could be a bit bigger? However, one thing I like about Cake 2 is the colors!
