    Between the two, I think that #2 is closer (I actually quite like it!), but I do agree with PP that I’d love to see you continue your dress search.  While both are pretty, I think i’d love to see you try on a few dresses a little more fitted like dress #2.

    My biggest beef with dress #1 is not from the front (it’s beautiful and the strapless on you is actually quite lovely), but I feel like the corset and the skirt in the back cut you into 2 halves, and it makes you look shorter than I bet you are.

    My advice to you – look for dresses with one continuous line – dress #2 has those features!  Have you tried on any dresses with a zipper back yet?  Also something I’d love to see you in!

    @windcriesamy:  Dresses with clearly defined waists at a true waist will help you look taller (or at least stop you from looking shorter). I can tell that you are short, but I think these particular dresses exaggerate that.
