Bees,
I need your prayers, positive feelings, whatever you can offeR. My Grandmother had two strokes last night and has had several more this morning. We are not sure why as she was slated for heart surgey today and all the pre-tests looked good. Shes 82 but tests as is she was in her 60s! So we are at a loss for why this is happening, and need any support we can.
This woman is amzing, the rock of our family and I not ready to lose her yet. I thought it couldnt hurt to reach out wide and maybe the positive vibes will help her.
Thank you.

Stay strong and I’m hoping for a recovery for your grandma! My dad had a stroke a few years ago and while life has never been the same, he’s still very much alive and kicking 😉

Keeping your grandmother and family in my thoughts and prayers today. My grandmother was one of the most amazing people I knew, so I completely understand how difficult this time can be. My husband primarily works with individuals who have had strokes (he’s a nurse).

Sending good thoughts for your grandma!
My grandma is 80 and had 2 strokes last year and 2 in the year before that. Like a PP said, live will never be quite the same, but my grandma is doing well again. She is even flying from Europe to the US for our wedding! By The Way, it is common for a stroke to be followed by another (and maybe another and more). Just how it goes…
I’m sorry your family is going through this.

**UPDATE**
My Grandmother is now stable and in rehab for the next few months. She can’t speak full sentences or use her right side, but she is learning how to write with her left hand and can say a few more simple one syllable words. There is an improvement everyday in some small way, which we are so thankful for.
She is determined to be at our wedding, which is wonderful because I know she was really looking forward to it and not being at the shower was hard on her. My Fiance and her are close so it’s been very hard on him too, but she still lights up when he comes to visit and it is so heart warming to see. We know she won’t be able to walk, but we are eager for her to speak again. I really miss her voice and talking with her on the phone. We do voice excercises everyday, which is supposed to help.
Thank you all for your support!
