I need a date idea for tonight that doesn’t involve a lot of planning or $$ (maybe like $25 max). Suggestions?
If anyone’s local, we’re in LA and areas surrounding Burbank are the most convenient. We’re 22 and 26 if it makes a difference.

A picnic! Stop at the grocery store and grab some food, throw together a couple sandwiches, pack a bottle of wine, and you’re good to go! Just enjoy people watching at a nearby park and then go on a walk to find an ice cream parlor for dessert =).

Or Happy Hour somewhere.
Are you at the stage where you can grab a pizza and a Redbox movie or two and veg on the couch? If so, that’s the best cheap date!

We very often will grab a pizza and a movie because by the end of the week, ALL WE WANT TO DO is sit together on the couch in as much or as little clothing as we please. That’s all we want.

+1 on the picnic idea – go to a park/beach and enjoy the weather.

@runningcali: Nope, we live with his mom right now. So while the three of us often watch movies or Game of Thrones together, it’s not exactly a cute date idea haha.
I like the picnic idea. I might go for that.

But seriously: Netflix and home made chicken wings/finger foods.

Go old school. How about mini golf and share an ice cream cone?

@kgirl91: The Getty is free ($15 parking or just $10 after 5pm). It’s beautiful to walk around inside & out. You can do a picnic there.
The Heritage Square Museum is sort of a old timey main street with lots of buildings to look at and a nice outdoor area. $10 per person (It’s downtown).
You could go to an art show in NoHo.
Griffith Park is an obvious one.

SO & I are down by the beach. We like to get some coffee and go for a drive. If I was up in Burbank, I’d grab some coffee and snacks at Portos and take a drive! Here are some scenic options.
