Bees! Does anyone have recommendations for an affordable celebrant in Paris? We are eloping in September (already have our US legal marriage license) and want to do a private exchange of vows and rings with a celebrant in Paris. All of the ones I’ve contacted are 400, 500, even 700 euros for a 30-minute ceremony!
I have booked the most fabulous photograher and rented a Parisian apartment in MontMartre. Oh! And a private chef for only 400 euros to serve our wedding dinner. How is a celebrant for 30 minutes more expensive than a private chef who actually has to buy all of the food and cook it?!
Maybe we should just skip the officiant/celebrant and exchange vows just the two of us? After all, it’s just for us since we are already legally married in the US.
I also need hip restaurant recommendations for the trip and if anyone knows how I can hire a personal assistant for the day… to help with the little things. The wedding planners want to charge 1000 euros for that. Is there taskrabbit or something I can use?
Any advice is appreciated!
