It looks great on you, but if you think it will look sexier taken in a little tighter in the behind area, go for it.  It’s your day! Everyone can tell you how great you look, but you want to FEEL that amazing too…especially after spending so much on a wedding dress : )

Yeah, it’s a little baggy. I can tell you probably have a nice rear, but no one can see it in this dress. I say, nip tuck!

Just make sure you can sit comfortably in it. This is actually why I had to opt out of the mermaid that I wanted. In order to make it loose enough to sit comfortably, I would have had to have a saggy seat.

I think it could do with a little bit of taking in, especially at the base of the satin section where it looks like it needs to taper in a bit more to give a more dramatic mermaid silhouette. Just make sure you can sit, move and dance in it!

Part of me says “take it in,” but you don’t want your dress to be so tight that you can’t sit! The good thing about wedding dresses is that they DO stretch a little bit as you wear them throughout the big day. That being said, I’d take it in!

@Wed2Attn:

@hmmtmar:

MY dress was very tight in the hip/butt area, I had no problem sitting! The only thing I was restricted in all night was when the band played the shout song and they go “a little bit softer now” and everybody squats down to the floor. I felt too nervous to go all the way down…but tbh I’m a pussy and never go all the way down anyway, lol. And it definitely was worth it to feel snug as a glove in my dress!

Take it in and show that shape.  It doesn’t do your rear justice.

@hmmtmar: @DarthBetty:  ^^ Exactly what she said. Take it in and show off your best asset, missy!

@BookishBelle:  Hahaha I like this story. Everytime I go all the way down, my knees and lower back protest. So wearing a tight-fitted dress gives me a less embarrassing excuse not to do so.  😛

If you take it in, just make sure you can walk around comfortably. Looks great on you!
