Stop worrying about what other people have. No one is stealing your thunder- the world doesn’t revolve around you and your relationship.

You know a proposal is coming, so relax, do your nails and enjoy the excitement of anticipation!

So your dad told you that your Boyfriend or Best Friend asked him? Or your Boyfriend or Best Friend told you? Ugh. Either way, I wouldn’t want to know.

Im SO glad that both my parents knew and kept it a secret. I would not want to be in your shoes right now. But, like PP said. Chill out, go treat yourself to something, and don’t worry about what anyone else has. And nobody is stealing anyone’s thunder.

If he just asked a few months ago I would assume he hadn’t yet bought a ring so that’s probably what the delay is about. That or he’s planning the special moment for some time in the future. Sit back and enjoy the fact that he’s taken the next step! Another couple’s engagement won’t matter when your time comes.

MissTootToot:  It’s not really stealing your thunder because the best friend is not a close family member and anyway, I would like to think that Love decides – rather than others, when to propose ๐Ÿ˜‰

Maybe your guy and his best friend are just maturing at a similar pace.

Your guy might learn a lot from the proposal of his best friend and therefore yours is going to be even more perfect ๐Ÿ˜‰ It sounds like he really is striving for perfection, so, know that when he does ask you, he really means it in that moment and it will be perfect. Be glad it does not constitute a rushed job (unlike his best friend) – would you really prefer the best friend’s lightning approach? No way when the alternative is being blown away by your guy when he finally asks you ๐Ÿ™‚ You guys will rumble-thunder everyone else outta town!

Hang on in there!  ๐Ÿ˜€
