OMG those camo shoes rock!! I think maybe those and corset camo ties would be a great way to go. Or the crinoline with different shoes. I agree, less is more. And if your Fiance wants to do camo vest, that would be good, but do brown or orange for the Groomsmen.

I like the idea of camo accents if that is what you really love. Go with the solid colors you have mentioned and just throw in little touches of the camo and hunting you love. It could be “woodland” themed which is actually pretty popular right now.
I seen a cake made for a couple who loved hunting and it was made with a forest theme and then had tiny fondant deer track on it. It was actually pretty nice!
It was something like this, but with leaves instead of the flowers and then tiny tracks added in some places:
Here’s a good inspiration board for you. You could do something like this with your added touches of camo:

@camolover: I love it! We are combining camo (groom in snow camo) and my dream of a 50’s inspired wedding using red. black, white. It is going to be colorful to say the least. I love your invites and I cannot wait to see how you pull it all together!
I was just at friends wedding where the theme was camo. The bride wore white, but carried camo colored flowers, the groom wore snow camo and the groomsmen wore mossy oak. The colors were mainly black with some green and brown and random splashes of bright pink! The Bridesmaid or Best Man wore all black and carried camo flowers too! It was awesome and fun!

I think if you love hunting and fishing and camo appeals to you, go for it and don’t worry about it being “tacky.” Check out the recent thread MissTattoo started about the nature of “tackiness.” All that matters is that you and your FH love the idea. Period.

Those camo heels are awesome!! My Future Brother-In-Law actually had camo vest on his groomsmen. The family is HUGE on hunting. Future Sister-In-Law didn’t wear a camo dress but her colors were brown, white, & green so it played out nicely.
Bride & Groom (FSIL & FBIL)
SO & I with his camo vest.
If it’s not overdone, I think it looks nice.

I would like to say, IT IS YOUR WEDDING! DO WHAT YOU’D LIKE! At first I was apprehensive about incorporating camo into our wedding. Then I was only going to add little camo decor here and there. Well, when the boys went to get fitted for their tux’s the other day, what did they see? Camo vests and ties. There was no way I could say no to my Fiance. It’s his wedding too.
For all of these people saying it’s not classy, etc. Seriously!? Who are you to say what is classy and what is not?! We all have different lifestyles. Some of us are city slickers and some of us are from the country. We all have different ways of thinking and senses of ‘style’.
@FutureMrsMcClenahan – Please don’t let any of these insulting remarks lead you to not give yourself and you Fiance the wedding you both want/deserve!

Curious to know if you did a camo wedding or not?? Fiance and I are planning our wedding as camo and orange. If so, I’d love to see pictures!
