I would do a white shirt with a black vest and apple green tie or vise versa (green vest, black tie).  My Darling Husband wanted to be a little different than his Groomsmen so he did an ivory shirt, vest and tie and the Groomsmen did an ivory shirt, teal vest and black tie.

I think that it would look great for a black vest and black shirt for the groomsmen and apple green tie. Have your hubby to be be in a white shirt and vest and green tie or white shirt white vest green/black tie. I like both those ideas. I personally don’t think you should make the best man stand out with is clothing, make his bout different from the other men. Like have theirs be single rose and his be a rose with green leaves and your groom’s be two roses with green accent leaf.

Just don’t put a black shirt underneath the black tux, with a black vest. I just saw pictures of a wedding on facebook and it was just too much black, kind of looked like a funeral. I think that if the girls are in the black, it’s nice to give the guys something to break it up like a white shirt. A colored tie that would complement the girls’ bouquets might look sharp. If I were you, I would play around with that feature on the David’s Bridal website where you can personalize your bridal party and actually look at the different combinations.
