Our wedding is at the end of September putting our Honeymoon around the first week of October (unfortunately thats hurricane season). I wouldn’t say we have a price range though I would like to keep it under 8,000 if it was all inclusive. At first I was almost sold by Sandals, though I think they are somewhat cliche when you look into the nicer rooms with butler service and a private pool on the patio it is very enticing (but is it going to be raining the whole time?). I also was intrigued by Tahiti, those over water bungalows are awesome but its not all inclusive and living in RI we would lose 2 days of vacation time on travel. I really like going to new places and my Fiance and I have traveled a lot together. So I maybe would want to not go to Jamaica, PR, Mexico, Paris, England, Bahamas or a cruise. Im not against these places but its always nice to do something new. Where do you think is a great place to go during that time of year and preferably is all inclusive. And if anyone has been to Sandals St. Lucia or Antigua I would LOVE a review!

We did St. Lucia at exactly that time of year and while it rained, it was not really a problem and certainly not as serious as the weather prediction which made it look like downpours daily. Most days we got a passing shower and often we were already in the pool when it came through. However, I don’t think it rained more than half of the days. Either was, I wrote a review on the 3 Sandlas properties http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/st-lucia-sandals-review-time if you search you’ll find many other bees have reviewed Sandles as well.
We flew from Boston on delta with a stop in Miami. It was a long day of flying but you can be in St. Lucia in time for dinner if you take the first flight in the morning. My best advice is to buy trip insurance and go wherever you want.

Okay its a little bit out there, but if you’re looking for somewhere less cliche why not look at private villas.
For example, we’re hoping to honeymoon here:
Its in Morocco, right outside Marrakech. In October the weather will be beautiful i’m told. Best of all, the villa itself is only just over $200 per night – you do have to purchase food on top of that price but there is a maid and cook who come with the house so they will cook whatever food you buy and it will be private!! And there is so much to do in Marrakech and so many places to explore. You could even split your honeymoon spending a week in the villa and another in a Riad in the city like this one:
Alternatively there is this place in Jamaica – ITS AMAZING!! It might be more your thing too if you don’t fancy the villa route.
Hope that helps!

Aruba is beautiful, and it’s outside the “hurricane zone”!
