ok so heres my problem… i broke off my engagement but i still have my dream dress, do i sell the dress, or do i keep it and save some money the next time around… i really do love the dress and pictures dont do it justice at all… like every wedding dress, as you ladies may know especially camera phone 🙁 i really would like to keep the dress tucked away somewhere safe where mr right (in the future) wont ever see it but i dont know if its wrong to do that
aaaagh so confusing and depressing

First, Im sorry about your engagement. Second, That dress is amazing and i don think it’s wrong to keep it as long as it wont have to many emotional ties to your ex for you. If you can wear it and be happy then i say do it!

I would sell it. You now have bad memories attached to it and your style may be very different by the time you decide to get married again.

Why not wait a little while and then decide what to do?

That’s a tough one. I think you should do whatever you want and feel comfortable with. If you are not superstitious about it, maybe keep it. I love the dress, but maybe a fresh start will feel right the next time with something else. Hard to say! Completely up to you.

I’m sorry to hear about your engagement 🙁 I would maybe just hold off on doing anything with it for now. Chances are, by the next time around you might want something different, or you’ll find a new style that you like better. However, you might also regret selling your dress. Maybe wait to make a decision until a decision really needs to be made

Im sorry to hear that…I LOVE the dress though. Who is it by? And as long as you dont feel emotional attachment with your dress and your ex-fiance I think its ok to keep it.

i dont feel any emotional attachment to the dress that involves my ex… just the attachment to how i feel in the dress
the dress itself was a steal at only 900 dollars and it was the second dress i bought because i wasnt happy with the first one so its hard to part with this one
the designer is romantic bridals but i cant for the life of me find the style number

That’s a stunning dress! As beautiful as it is, I would sell it as it might upset your FH. Plus, styles change constantly and I’m sure they’ll be another dress you’ll love just as much and it will be special for you and your FH!
