- Wedding: December 2012
I have a good friend who offered to help me design my invitations. My SO has been, for the most part, absolutely useless when it comes to planning our wedding, but he piped up the other day about the invitations and I liked his idea.
Our invitations will be a puzzle.
Not a 200 piece puzzle, mind you. Maybe 5-9 pieces. Nothing absurd, something a young child could put together.
Now, said friend has a few calls in to places she works with to see if this is a possibility to have “mass produced” (Realistically I’d need maybe 43 invitations MAX.) but if she is unable to find someone who has the commercial equipment to do this…
How would I DIY this?
The logical idea would be to whip out an xacto blade and cut them myself. 40+ invitations is quite daunting and I am afraid I’d end up wounding myself (Trust me, it would happen) and I would leak all over my pretty invitations, or I wouldn’t be able to keep it even. They will be printed on double thick matte paper, so cutting will be a chore in itself.
