I like the one you purchased better. The other one gives bohemian vibes but your dress doesnt. But ultimately it is up to you, it is your day and you dont want to have regrets.

I like both but I do feel like the one you WANT will clash when it comes to the styles. As one PP mentioned, the bohemian veil and vintage gown makes two desperate statements. The fabrics seem a little clashy too. The veil seems like a sheer chiffon whereas your dress is lace, and tulle would pair better with it. Bottom line? If you like it, wear it.

Sorry- didn’t mean desperate. My autocorrect has a field day when typing in WB.

The back of your gown is so pretty, the veil you already have allows the beauitful V back to really take centre stage. I think the the boho veil will work with your dress but it’s not as sheer as the one you’ve purchased. When you’re infront of your guests, they’ll be seeing you fron the side/back, and you’ll want them to see the stunning back on your dress.

I like the veil that your are obsesse with! I think your dress style can pull it off! I am also considering a chiffon veil for my lace dress. Perpaps the material is silk chiffon, which is very classy.

This is from Grace Loves Lace, mostly boho style…. but just shows that lace paired with (silk) chiffon is beautiful!. CAM205932CAM20527-21

Honestly?  It’s just a veil.  The one you have looks great.  Plus do you REALLY want to spend $200?????  That’s a lot for something that won’t go that well with your dress at all.

This doesn’t really help but I LOVE your dress and veil combo. I actually posted about that veil a few months ago haha. It’s gorgeous, but she only has the silver crystal pieces left and I need gold. And is your dress Martina Liana?

MacKaylarae:  I’m personally not a huge veil fan myself (still debabting if I’m wearing one or not), but what I’m really not a fan of is generic. Ditch the one you bought. I love the unique veil! It’s so different and pretty and I agree it’s got a bit of an old hollywood thing going on. And I do think it goes with your dress.  The other one is so sheet it’s almost like what’s the point. Plus you said yourseld you’re obsessed with it –go for it! This is the only occasion you’re going to have to wear it 🙂

I bought a veil that draped like the veil you want… it looked beautiful online and I thought it was soooo unique.  Well I got it and it was very restricting.  It ONLY looked good with my hair all down.  Which I didnt want.  So I ended up taking it out five minutes before the ceremony and putting flowers in my messy updo.  If you are going to wear your hair down go for it! otherwise it will look funky.  good luck!
