So I got my SO an Xbox One for his birthday/Christmas combined (both of which are in December so it works out). I already gave him the gift but would really like to buy him a little something more just so he has something to open on Christmas day. However, considering I just spent $480 on a gaming console, I need the gift to be around $10-$15. Do you have any ideas of what I could get him? Any input is welcome! Thank you all 🙂

For gifts in this price range, I tend to think of those little “splurges” that he may want, but rarely buys because it is an unnecessary expense.
For my guy, I’ve considered buying some magazines (or doing a subscription to one) for him. It would make a great little gift since it is something we don’t normally purchase, but I know he likes to read if he gets the chance. Also, edible items work really well (my Fiance loves a very particular brand of root beer that costs like $8 for a 4-pack, so that’s always a nice surprise for him.)

I forgot to hit “reply”, so I’ll add more here:
- board games for the two of you to play,
- one of those crossword-a-day or joke-a-day type calendars
- movie tickets

An IOU booklet is free. Give him tickets for whatever you think he might like. IOU one chore swap, IOU one argument ceasefire, IOU one night of control of the tv, etc.

Good ideas, thanks y’all!

It really depends on what he is into.
My husband and I are pretty big kitchen people. For his stocking, I completed our kitchen utensil set with the one $20 item we are lacking. I also got him a measuring cup ($10). We also work midnight shifts every now and then and like things to read, so I got him a few magazine subscriptions ($5).
