Do you have a Nordstrom in your area? They carry a lot of things like that including Spanx, they might have some of the new (thinner) Spanx.

Have a great weekend!!

To be completely honest with you, I would just stick with the strapless bra.  You look so super-fit in your dress, there’s no need for Spanx.  I find Spanx to be thick and uncomfortable 🙁

But yes, if you are set on Spanx, you can get them at department stores, or even a cheaper brand at Target.

@Running Elley: I liked your dress with the poof. Without wanting to worry you are you 100% certain that you want it like that?

spanx is a lot like seamless pantyhose. I think it’ll be the thinest thing you can find. The “higher power” one will go up to your bra line so there is no line where it ends at the waist.

You really don’t need it but if you must: I would just go to Target and get Spanx’s lower line.  If you’re never going to wear it again, why spend the $$$$.

Love your dress.

I think spanx feel thick too. I bought a strapless slip at macy’s (elastic so still form fitting) and that was really thin.

@Running Elley: Yeah, I only say that from the crinoline drama I had. I tried a hooped one on and didn’t like it, but I was too hasty in doing this. For example here’s my dress on another bride with a hooped crinoline and on me with a layered crinoline. I went back to the shop and they swapped it to a hoop for me.

@Running Elley: spanx have their skinny britches line and they are super thin and really dont suck you in at all. they are really light and comfortable. you could wear them with any underwear to get rid of the underwear line or you could wear them without underwear. Good luck!

@Running Elley: I would. I only say as I’d hate for you to look at your wedding day pics and think ‘my dress looked a bit flat’, luckily as you know I thought this with a few months spare.
