What is your honest opinion on this dress for my bridesmaids? My colors are blush gold and ivory. are they too over the top? Too flashy? Im nervous about what my guests will think with this blingy choice!
For reference this is our ceremony space
And our reception space

I love them! I’m not a girl who loves flashy things, but I really do like these! The only thing I would point out is that dress is not one that will suit all body types, so take you bridesmaids shapes into consideration on them! And who cares what your guests think! It’s your day!

very pretty dress on the right person. I know however for my body type I would look awful and feel very insecure, but thats me. So long as your girls are on board and feel comfortable and the dress flatters them, go for it!

They are pretty, but I couldn’t wear one. I’ve tried to do the bras that are just a pair of cups that attach, and I just can’t. I need at least a strapless bra, but preferably something with straps.

YES, but — I’ve tried on both the long and short versions of this dress, and I have to say, the shorter version is far more flattering on more body types (mine included – 5’3″/125lb/pear). Rent The Runway has lots of customer photos of girls in dresses identical to and quite similar to this one, so if you want to see how your ‘maids might stack up next to others who have tried these dresses, I would look there.
that said, if everyone’s an hourglass 0-4, the long will look killer. 🙂

Love them. Had them in mind for my girls before we went in a different direction. Suit your venue perfectly also. I say go for it.

I would hate if someone asked me to wear this as a Bridesmaid or Best Man because of the low back. I need my comfortable well fitting bra! It totally depends on the BMs As to whether it will look good or not.

I love them! The glam would fit your venue and theme perfectly!
But I agree with the ladies who are expressing concern about bras.
If those are the Sorella Vita sequin gowns, they have 3 other styles (2 of which are bra friendly, one would even accomodate a bra with straps), and that could possibly look really cool as a mismatched Bridesmaid or Best Man situation.
Also, sequins would be quite unforgiving, so I would double check that the ‘maids are comfortable wearing them!

For your wedding and reception venue I think they are perfect, it is a more difficult shape for everyone to wear but the fabric should be more forgiving because it will be heavier and hang nicely. 🙂

I love them. And as a bm I’d want to wear a dress like this BUT as others have said the bra issue would cause me problems.

I like them in theory, but don’t think they’re a good choice unless all of your BMs are tall and thin with small, perky boobs. I would bet they’re expensive, too.

Thanks everyone for your responses! All three of my bridesmaids are very small, size 0-2 with smaller chests.
I found a seller on etsy that sells these dresses with 250 4.5 star reviews on this dress for $98. I might just order one and see how it fits. Then if I like it, I’ll let one of my Bridesmaid or Best Man use the one I bought.
Heres the link: has anyone bought this dress by any chance? https://www.etsy.com/listing/218690773/boutique-sequin-long-wedding-bridesmaid

I’d probably avoid Etsy replicas and just get the real Badgley Mischka dress on Rent the Runway…
First order 20% off, Black Friday extended with 25% off orders.
