The middle one!  Not really a fan of diamonds around the face of a watch, I feel it looks too busy.

I am biased because I just got a milestone watch with a black dial and stainless bracelet. It is the most striking and luxe looking to me, and it is easy to dress up or down.

Probably not too helpful, but I like the face/dial of the middle one and the bracelet of the last one. But if I were to choose one, I’d go with the middle one! It also goes with your set the most, IMO. Everything matches, and it’s sleek and not overpowering

Second would be the last one, but I find it just slightly too much with the diamonds around the dial, but that’s just me

Well, it isn’t a stack, but this is the watch.

I was just looking at watches a few months ago. What’s never worked for me is getting something less expensive because the thing I want is too expensive.  I just end up spending more money in the end because I eventually get the thing I want.

There are a lot of good preowned watch sites out there. If you really want a Rolex (and I can understand, I have 2) see if you can find a used one in good shape. Sustainability is in.

@bluecutie00: in with Subburn. Have you seen her watch and ring combo!!  Amazeballs!! Oh  just buy the Rolex you won’t be sorry!! I got tired of buying fashion watches finally I just bit the bullet and started collecting luxury watches about 5 years ago.  Life is short death is long so I figure WTF I’m going to invest in what I like!

While I never want to encourage irresponsible spending, I do have to agree with Sunburn and ricli here. If you genuinely want a Rolex, this may scratch that itch for a year, maybe two. But it only compounds the cost of what you actually want in the long run. I knew I wanted a “nice” watch, and I bought several less expensive ones, but I finally just gave up. I wasn’t excited to wear them because I wanted something else. I didn’t wear a watch at all for a long time. Now that I finally got what I truly wanted, I have been wearing the watch every day. I am excited to put it on. It wasn’t cheap, but it was so worth it.

@echomomm:  I know what you mean.  I tried to be economically responsible. I actually don’t purchase expensive clothes. But I do love jewelry and accessories, bags, sunglasses and spend money on that.  I tried to be content with fashion type watches which is really nice.  All of which I am currently trying to sell at the moment But I was like why am I buying things that are not really what I want. Like you I just bit the bullet and did it.  Glad I did it, because when I added up all the fashion watches I have collected over the years it added up to a Rolex.

To OP, on second thought I like the 2nd or 3rd watch better. I think the Black is lovely but I think the 2nd and third will allow you to stack and accessorize it with a tennis bracelet or some bangles

I’m all about being happy with what I have etc but the fact is for such a purchase, you will look at your Movado wishing it was a Rolex. And I don’t even particularly like the latter (I prefer vintage and my dream brand is Jaeger Lecoultre).

    You could:

    – start a sinking fund for your Rolex, using the money for this Movado watch and anything you’re gifted / able to save / cash back / points / no take outs etc. You’re entering your 30s, the “responsible” decade (I’m 30 now and it hasn’t quite sunk in yet lol) so once you get after such efforts, it’ll be even better! I tend to be more motivated when I have a financial goal. Mine was “pay off my graduate loans before I’m 30” and it was really gratifying to achieve it!

    – bite the bullet, get your Rolex now and go on a spending freeze to save again ahead of your 2nd house. At least the sight of the Rolex on your wrist will bring you joy. Or it’ll remind you of your last “what have I done” moment from your 20s 😉

    – if you want the Movado, the white one with a diamond dial (#2 or #4 with the different bracelet) is quite pretty.

    Happy birthday!
