Well, its personal taste ๐Ÿ™‚ I actually really like the details on the first one, especially on the sides, the second one is a little blah for me. But it also is hard to tell because we can’t see them on you ๐Ÿ˜€

I sort of think there’s more visual interest in the first dress. The second is a great deal, but how much would you lose if you cancelled the first? The second dress is pretty but In My Humble Opinion it’s not SO much prettier than the first as to justify switching.

I love how the first one looks on you.  I would have a hard time spending more money if I looked that great in my dress.

I honestly like the look of the second dress better.  And if you originally wanted a simpler, flowy dress then I think you should seriously consider the switch (especially if the budget isn’t an issue).

I don’t know how much our opinions are going to help.  It’s your wedding and your personal style and what really matters on a woman’s wedding day is that she looks LIKE HERSELF, happy and comfortable.  So are you miss elegant/sexy or are you miss sweet/pretty?  That’s really all there is to it.

I like the first dress, but that’s because it’s MY taste, not necessarily yours.

They are both pretty dresses, but I think you should sleep on it for a couple of days.  You say in your post that you want something “lacy, flowy, and simple.”  The first dress is none of these things.  The second dress is simple, and a little lacy, but doesn’t really strike me as flowy.  I think when a bride starts to have dress doubt she should really stop and think about it for a few days and really analyze what she likes/doesn’t like about the 1st dress.  It breaks my heart when I read about brides that buy 2+ dress.  If you decide the first dress REALLY isn’t you, you need to be very cautious about buying a second dress…don’t make another rash decision or buy something just cause it’s a good deal…you don’t want to end up a 3 dress bride!

@Meealissa: Lol – well that’s not going to happen, because it isn’t ugly!  Why don’t you sleep on it like Marzipan said, give it some real thought, and then look around at sweet and pretty dresses to make sure you don’t regret buying this one too?  If this is still the one you want after that, go for it!

Honestly I much prefer the first one.  It’s very flattering on you and I love the rouching.  The second one is sort of boring to me and I don’t think it’s very flattering on the model.
