@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: You are not crazy at all!! It was smart and economical for you to switch it out intead of having two. It is a symbol of your love with your husband. As long as you two are ok with it, no one else’s opinions matter.

Hope you love your new band!

I think that’s a really good decision! Can’t you wear the plain white gold one that you used to wear while you wait for the new one? Do you still have that one?

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  I just got my wedding band which is a 3/4 prong eternity band too – looks almost the same. They are 1 ct each, and have like a 4mm/5mm area at the back that doesn’t have diamonds (hence 3/4 eternity).

I love it – I’ve only tried it on 2 times, haha, but I really liked it.  And I have a pear solitaire, similar to your marquis, and it looks really good!   Also gold is going wayyyy up, so it’s good you didn’t put off ordering it any longer.

Heres a photo of my ering and my wedding ring that’ll be sitting in a drawer for 10 months:

And here’s mine and my fiancee’s hands (we got the same wedding band):

I have a plain stainless steel band that I think looks really nice next to my e-ring, and it was only about $5!  maybe that could be a good placeholder?  you might be able to find one at a mall kiosk.

plus, then you would have a cheap band you could wear for sports, dirty jobs, etc.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  Thanks!  I don’t post it too often because i can never get it to look right.  It’s really sparkly in person but it has such a large flat table on the top of it and it looks bad in photos.  But thanks!  Everytime I see your marquise, it looks like it almost has the exact same band as mine.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  Do you know where you got yours?  Mine’s from adiamor….  I wonder if it’s the same setting!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Cool!  They do look similar.  I love how in love with your ring you are!  You’re always posting it.
