I super pink puffy heart LOVE my wedding planner. She has been SO wonderful to work with and so supportive of our choices. She even helps with my DIY stuff 🙂 My only advice is to make sure you like her style/personality. My planner is type A (like me) and has a great style. This makes us work VERY well together!

I have a wedding planner too, but mostly because I run a small design business and it’s been hard balancing the planning and clients. She takes care of all the vendors, the phone calls, and budgeting.. I get to still do all the designing and colors and design outlook. It’s a perfect relationship. I don’t know how i’d get along without her.

i am a great sorter-outer,  and love to do my own things,  but have booked a wedding planner purely because we will be having a destination wedding in Turkey,  i am from UK.

there are things that i cannot sort out from here,  and need to let her sort out for me.

the only thing i will be sorting our when i get there is the photographer,  because i am really picky, being a wedding photographer myself,  and just because the wedding planner suggested  ”’the man i usually use”    dont quite do it for me.  i need to see some of his work,  and if he dont impress me…..i will go elsewhere.

i am leaving her to source a cake for me,  bouquets i am taking with me,  and my own music CD.

my planner has been in contact regularly,  about colour schemes,  the reception etc,  and even down to the last detail of the rose petal drop from a small aeroplane…..

the proof of the pudding is in the eating and i will let you all know if she is as goos as her word……..after my wedding i will comment on here.

My mom hired a wedding planner for me as her gift to me for the wedding for several reasons, but the most important was because when my BFF was getting married (I was the MOH), her and I planned the entire wedding so on the day of, neither of us could relax because people kept asking us questions about stuff.  As my mom put it, “you looked so stressed at her wedding, I don’t want that again.”  Also, I’m a very Type A, OCD sort of person, who is obsessed with things being on time and a certain way.  We both knew that a wedding is a good place to break down even the most organized of people, hence the WP!

They are amazing and with 8 months left before the big day, there isn’t much left to plan or do!!!

Sort of- our venue provides a day-of coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly. Which I am SO grateful for! My budget doesn’t allow a full on planner, but then again my wedding will be intimate and simple. I can certainly see how they’re a sanity saver for those having a bigger wedding Laughing

I heart my wedding planner She is the best, I gave her our vision and she is making it BEAUTIFUL!!! No stress and I can call her with those details of people who keep inviting themselves and she handles it with class. My vision looks good on paper but even better, with Tracy ( the wedding planner)

We have a DOC (that I actually scored for FREE on WB). I’m really excited to have her. I’m sure our wedding day will run much smoother having someone there to control everything. I’m really looking forward to just being able to be a bride on my wedding day.

I have a wedding planner, and she is AWESOME!!!!!  I tried to plan on my own, but realized it was too much for me to handle, working full-time and being a mom.  I contacted her and it has been a breeze every since!

I haven’t had to do any negotiations or book anything….she has done it all.  All, I’ve had to do is decide where I wanted to have my wedding, my dress, my photographer, my cake, and my girl’s dresses.  And she helped me with those things by giving me great options and ideas.  Because of her, I look forward to getting married in May Smile
