Fiance bought my plain band halo with the intention of a diamond wedding band. However, we just bought a new house, and we both agreed that things for the house are the priority. So I ordered a plain 14k white gold band that matches ring, and Fiance said at an anniversary in the future I can get a diamond band.
im a little sad, but I still think it will look nice.
I had emailed David Klass about a month ago- and I ordered my band two days ago thinking he wouldn’t get back to me. Of course it is my luck that he contacted me today with a price that would have worked. Oh well! Can’t wait to get to wear my band 🙂

You can never go wrong with a plain wedding band. Very classic.

i love the look of plain bands! they’re so classic. i was originally thinking of a diamond twist band, or criss cross band, and tried on both and didn’t love either. but then i put on a plain platinum band and i was all….wow. just so freaking classic! plus, there’s always anniversaries! if you start with diamonds, there’s nowhere to go 🙂

Personally I love plain bands–that’s what I have and that’s what I wanted. They are a really classic.
But you sound like you want a diamond band. Can you cancel your order for hte plain band or return it? Then you could get the David Klass one that you said was within your budget. Otherwise, you could shop around for a diamond band that is cheaper (from somewhere like eweddingbands). You could alway find something to cut from the wedding to help offset the cost difference. Getting a wedding band I wanted was important because for me the wedding was one day, but the ring I would wear every day. But to each their own.

I think I will love the plain one when it arrives. In the future i would love a diamond anniversary band- but the plain band is something I will wear for the rest of my life
