it’s all relative- you are not used to looking at yourself in a wedding dress (let alone with limited make-up, and bad lighting)… There are pics of me on my wedding day in a sweat suit with my hair and makeup done and I HATE looking at them- i feel like my face looks weird and I look like a freak! But I am not used to seeing myself in normal clothing all dolled up…
On your wedding day you will have an army of friends and fam that will make you feel like a star! Dont fret! You look beautiful!

i think AmeliaBedelia got it right about the volume on the bottom not matching the top of the dress. I feel like i have tint head syndrom and ginormous cheeks.
rosworms also made a great point about photographers knowing better poses to minimize the “double chin chipmunk cheek” effect.
Thank you to eveyone who has commented. You guys have really made me feel a lot better! I think i am going to take the same approach as mrsrma and grow it out and evaluate. I am also thinking about going with a cathedral length veil and no belt….so that might balance the look out as well.

Big fan of the longer hair… and maybe even extensions if you really want to go there. 🙂
You look so happy though!! Good choice!

The dress looks amazing on you! I definitely think you should grow your hair out longer, its very cute on you!

You look absolutely beautiful in the dress and congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. As someone with a very round face, I think that longer hair tends to be more flattering because it helps to slim the face – and if that’s what you want to do and it’ll help you feel more confident and attractive, then definitely think about growing your hair a bit longer. But the short cut is cute too 😀

that’s a fabulous dress and you wear it well. however, it is overpowering you. you should def. grow out or add on a hair piece or something. maybe some soft curls. with a vera wang you have to wear it with confidence too… I am sure you will be GORGEOUS on your wedding day. try some new looks, try the covergirl website you can try out hairstyles for free!

I was about to say the same.
Your skin is beautiful & glowing!
If you would like to you can always grow your hair out, take another picture in your dress. Hold them side by side & see how you like it best.
My opinion you look gorgeoue either way!

You are so gorgeous!! I wouldn’t worry. You will have your make up done and be all beautified on your wedding day. I’d grow your hair out and/or get extensions. Maybe your hair stylist can layer them.
